Our walk takes us to a new island on the Dnieper River, called Obolon Island. This natural gem of the capital was built in 2024 at the initiative of Kiev Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko. Despite the ongoing war in Ukraine, the island opened in May 2024, coinciding with Kiev Day, providing a peaceful recreational space for residents and visitors.

First Day Exploration

We have the unique opportunity to visit Obolon Island on its very first day of discovery. Despite the crowds seeking positive emotions and stress relief, our journey will be among the first to explore this natural haven in Kiev.
