Earlier this week, I was watching an old school movie with my kids and it got me thinking about the concept of creating magical moments. Just like in the movie « Charlotte’s Web, » where people saw miracles in ordinary things, we can also see the miraculous in the everyday. Albert Einstein said there are two ways to see the world – one as if nothing is a miracle, and the other as if everything is a miracle. When we hold the perspective that everything around us is a miracle, we become radiant in our appreciation for life.
## Creating Magical Moments
One way to create magical moments with your man is through a practice my wife and I invented when we were dating – we called it « magical moments. » We would pause in the middle of hustle and bustle, hug each other, close our eyes, and work our way through the five senses to really absorb the moment. It was a beautiful way to create a pattern interrupt from the everyday and open up our hearts to appreciation and gratitude.
## Appreciating the Little Things
There are a trillion little processes happening inside your body right now to keep you alive and enable you to watch this video. How miraculous is it that we are connecting right now, no matter the distance between us? By creating magical moments with your man, you’ll feel his heart expand, and he’ll feel your heart expanding.
