Sophie Brussaux, also known as Rosee Divine in her modeling days, has certainly had quite the journey before becoming known as Drake’s baby mama. Born on August 1st, 1989, in Bordeaux, Aquitaine, France, Sophie’s actual year of birth has been a topic of confusion. However, she did refer to herself as a « 90s baby » in one of her Instagram posts.
From a young age, Sophie had a passion for traveling and studying abroad. She pursued a Bachelor’s degree in French literature and an International Business and Finance degree, attending Bordeaux International School. Proud of her French heritage, she once said, « I am a Frenchy, and while you can taste the difference between a Coors Light and a Bud Light, I can tell the difference between a Burgundy and a Merlot. »
Sophie’s journey into the modeling industry began in her early 20s when she attempted to pursue a career as a model. However, due to her unique and curvy figure, she quickly found herself in more adult-oriented work. Going by the name Rosee Divine, she booked various modeling gigs, including a feature in the magazine Smooth Girl.

The public drama escalated when Pusha T released his diss track, « The Story of Adidon, » where he revealed that Sophie and Drake had a child together named Adonis. Drake later confirmed the news and spoke about his journey as a young father.
