I had to create a download link for another video, and it wasn’t that easy. So, let’s start now!

Step 1: Open your browser and go to MEGA

You’re going to open your browser (it can be Firefox, Internet Explorer, or Chrome, it doesn’t matter). Once you have the homepage, you’re going to enter the following link (link in the description). This will take you to the MEGA homepage.

Step 2: Upload your file

Now, MEGA will ask you to upload a file online. I’m going to upload a file because I already made it, but all you have to do is click on the « M » icon. Remember, you can only upload zip files, and you cannot upload folders.

Step 3: Create a MEGA account

To upload a zip file and get the download links, you have to create a MEGA account. It’s pretty easy! Just put your email address and a password. Once you’ve created the account, you’ll be connected to the online server.

Step 4: Upload your file (contd.)

Once you’re connected, you’re going to upload your file. Right-click on the center of the page and select « Upload file » or click on « Upload file » again. A window will open where you can look for your files. Once you’ve uploaded your file, right-click on it and select « Get link ».

Step 5: Get the download link

In the options, you’ll find the download link with several options. You’ll also have the decryption key, which is the link extension behind the download link. This key is necessary to decrypt the file. You can either copy the download link alone and manually enter the decryption key on a new page or click on « Link with key » to get the complete link. Copy the complete link and enter it in a new page to directly access the file.
