A Pleasant Classical Guitar Concert at Nitra Synagogue

Dear friends, on April 11, 2019, Nitra Synagogue hosted a very pleasant concert, a classical guitar concert, attended by students of elementary music schools, conservatories, the Academy of Arts and the Academy of Performing Arts. It was the 10th year, organized by the civic association Apropo Guitar in cooperation with the Jozef Rosinsky Elementary School of Art in Nitra.

A Special Experience as a Guest Lecturer

For me, this concert was exceptional because I was invited as a guest lecturer. After many years, it was a return to the classics, an excellent experience, and of course, the honor to work with these excellent young guitarists. My task was to prepare with them 2 final songs for the concert: Vivaldi’s concert for lute in D major and temperament composition Vamo alla Flamenco from Final Fantasy by composer Nobuo Uematsu.

Successful Rehearsals and Cooperation

Everything turned out well in the end, we rehearsed, and it was very nice to watch the cooperation of the youngest guitarists with adult and already serious concert players. I’d like to thank Tibor Andreas for inviting me and keep my fingers crossed for the next years. I hope they will!
