In this Tutorial, we will walk you through setting up, configuring, and using an amazing remote access system called TruGrid that allows remote workers to securely access company computers.

Setting up secure RDP is extremely complex and difficult if you don’t have a ton of networking experience. TruGrid provides a secure solution that is virtually invisible to hackers, making it ideal for managing a remote workforce.
## Getting Started with TruGrid
There are only a few steps to get up and running with TruGrid, which can be set up in 30 minutes or less. In this tutorial, we have set up 4 VM’s to emulate a company environment and demonstrate how to use TruGrid.
## Installing TruGrid Sentry Software
The Domain Controller is where we install the TruGrid Sentry software that acts as a secure RDP gatekeeper. We also have a SQL Server and a work PC for remote access, along with a home PC for accessing work computers using TruGrid.
## Setting Up a Business Account
We demonstrate how to install and configure the TruGrid Sentry software on your domain, assign work computers to users, install the Client Connector software on a home PC, access a work computer as a user, and get help from TruGrid Support.
## Accessing Work Resources Remotely
TruGrid allows remote workers to access physical office PC’s, virtual machines, and servers securely without opening any special ports on the firewall. The system provides end-to-end encryption and requires multi-factor authentication for accessing company resources remotely.
## Using TruGrid on Multiple Platforms
Remote workers can use TruGrid on iOS or Android devices, including iPad, iPhone, Android phones, and tablets, as well as Chromebooks. The system supports Multi Factor Authentication for added security.
## Setting Up the Back End Environment
To set up the back end environment, log on to your Domain Controller’s desktop to download and install TruGrid Sentry. Add computers and users to the TruGrid security groups to enable remote access to company resources.
## Assigning Computers to Users
In the TruGrid Administration Web Portal, assign PCs and servers to remote users by creating group assignments and selecting the machines and users to be assigned.
